MainPipeClass.RunInOptimizedMode Property
Gets or sets a value that specifies whether a data flow task runs in optimized mode.
Namespace: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Pipeline.Wrapper
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.DTSPipelineWrap (in microsoft.sqlserver.dtspipelinewrap.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
<DispIdAttribute(124)> _
Public Overridable Property RunInOptimizedMode As Boolean Implements IDTSPipeline90.RunInOptimizedMode
[DispIdAttribute(124)]

[DispIdAttribute(124)]

}
J# supports the use of explicit interface implementations, but not the declaration of new ones.
JScript supports the use of explicit interface implementations, but not the declarations of new ones.
Property Value
true if the data flow task runs in optimized mode; otherwise, false. The default is true.
Remarks
Updated text:17 July 2006
Optimized mode improves performance by removing unused columns, outputs, and components from the execution plan of the data flow task.
Note
A property with the same name, RunInOptimizedMode, can be set at the project level of an Integration Services project to indicate that the Data Flow task runs in optimized mode during debugging. This property overrides the RunInOptimizedMode property of Data Flow tasks in the packages in the project. The value of the project property is False by default.
For a brief discussion of properties that can be used to optimize the performance of the Data Flow task, see Troubleshooting Package Performance.
Thread Safety
Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
