Restore.SqlVerifyLatest Method (Server, SqlVerifyAction)

Verifies the most recent backup with the specified action, and checks to see that the backup set is complete and the entire backup is readable.

Parameters

  • srv
    A Server object that represents the SQL Server instance targeted by the restore operation.
  • sqlVerifyAction
    A SqlVerifyAction value the type of backup to verify, database or log backup for example.

Return Value

A Boolean value indicating whether targeted backup set is readable and complete. If True, the backup set was successfully verified. If False, the attempt to verify the backup set was unsuccessful.

Remarks

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
