BreakpointManager Class

Manages all the breakpoints that are set in on a task. This class cannot be inherited.

Namespace: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS (in microsoft.sqlserver.manageddts.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public NotInheritable Class BreakpointManager
    Inherits DtsObject
public sealed class BreakpointManager : DtsObject
public ref class BreakpointManager sealed : public DtsObject
public final class BreakpointManager extends DtsObject
public final class BreakpointManager extends DtsObject

Remarks

Tasks create breakpoints by calling the CreateBreakpointTarget method of the BreakpointManager and providing an ID and description of the breakpoint as parameters to the method. When a task reaches the point in its code that contains the breakpoint, it evaluates the breakpoint to see if it should suspend execution. Execution is suspended if the IsBreakpointTargetEnabled is true. If true, the task notifies the run-time engine by raising the OnBreakpointHit event. For information about custom breakpoints, see Adding Support for Debugging in a Custom Task.
