Cache Members

The primary object that is used by cache-enabled applications for storing and retrieving objects from the cache cluster. An instance of this object is referred to as the cache client.

The following tables list the members exposed by the Cache type.

Public Properties

	Name	Description
	DefaultCache	The name of the default cache.
	DefaultRegion	Used instead of a region parameter to indicate that a region should not be used in the method.
	Item	Allows for the use of array notation to access cached objects.

	Name	Description
	Add	Overloaded. Adds a new object to the cache. An exception is thrown if the item is already located in the cache.
	ClearRegion	Deletes all objects in the specified region.
	CreateRegion	Creates a region and specifies if resident objects may be evicted.
	Equals	Overloaded. (Inherited from Object.)
	Get	Overloaded. Gets the object by using the specified key from the cache.
	GetAllEnumerator	Gets an enumerator for all cached objects in the specified region that have all the same tags in common.
	GetAllMatchingTags	Gets a list of all cached objects in the specified region that have all the same tags in common.
	GetAndLock	Overloaded.
	GetAnyEnumerator	Gets an enumerator of all cached objects in the specified region that have any of the same tags in common.
	GetAnyMatchingTag	Gets a list of all cached objects in the specified region that have any of the same tags in common.
	GetByTag	Gets a list of all cached objects in the specified region that have the specified tag.
	GetCacheItem	Overloaded. Gets a CacheItem object to retrieve all information associated with your cached object in the cluster.
	GetEnumerator	Overloaded. Gets an enumerator of cached objects residing in the specified region.
	GetHashCode	(Inherited from Object.)
	GetIfNewer	Overloaded. Gets an object from the cache, but only if a newer version of the object occurs in the cache.
	GetType	(Inherited from Object.)
	Put	Overloaded. Adds a new object to the cache or replaces one if it is already located in the cache.
	PutAndUnlock	Overloaded.
	ReferenceEquals	(Inherited from Object.)
	Remove	Overloaded. Removes a cached object from the cache.
	RemoveRegion	Deletes a region. All cached objects inside the region are also removed.
	ResetObjectTimeout	Overloaded.
	ToString	(Inherited from Object.)
	Unlock	Overloaded.
