Returns a Boolean that contains a value indicating whether the column is set to null.

    The zero-based ordinal position of the column to find.

Type: System.Boolean
A Boolean containing true if the column is set to nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic); false otherwise.

Remarks

Call this method to check for nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) column values before calling the typed methods used to retrieve column values (for example, GetByte, GetChar, and so on), to avoid raising an error.
