Offline Property

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

The Offline property controls Microsoft SQL Server database availability.

Syntax

object.Offline [= value]

Remarks

If TRUE, the database is unavailable, or is being made unavailable, for use by authorized users.

If FALSE, the database is online, or is being brought online, for use by authorized users.
