ConnectionInfos.Item Property
Retrieves the ConnectionInfo object from the collection by the name, index, ID, or identity.
Namespace: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS (in Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Public ReadOnly Default Property Item ( _
index As Object _
) As ConnectionInfo
Get
'Usage
Dim instance As ConnectionInfos
Dim index As Object
Dim value As ConnectionInfo
value = instance(index)
public ConnectionInfo this[
Object index
] { get; }
public:
property ConnectionInfo^ default[Object^ index] {
ConnectionInfo^ get (Object^ index);
}
member Item : ConnectionInfo
JScript supports the use of indexed properties, but not the declaration of new ones.
Parameters
- index
Type: System.Object
The name, index, ID, or identity of the object in the collection to return.
Property Value
Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.ConnectionInfo
A ConnectionInfo object from the collection that matches the name, index, ID, or identity given in the index parameter.
Remarks
If a call to the Contains method returns true, you can access the specified element in the collection by using the syntax ConnectionInfos[index]. If the Contains method returns false, this property throws an exception. In C#, this property is the indexer for the ConnectionInfos class.
Examples
The following code example retrieves an item from the collection by using two methods. The first method uses the connectionInfos[0] syntax to retrieve the entire object, located in the first position of the collection and then places it in the connInfo object. You can now retrieve all properties from the ConnectionInfo object as usual. The second method retrieves a specific property from the first object in the collection.
