Check.MarkForDrop Method

Marks the foreign key to be dropped next time its parent Table object is altered by the Alter method.

Parameters

  • dropOnAlter
    Type: System.Boolean
    A Boolean value that specifies whether the check constraint is dropped when an Alter method is run on the parent SqlSmoObject object.If True, the check constraint is dropped when the table is altered.If False, the check constraint is not marked for drop.

Remarks

Note

For check constraints based on the UserDefinedTableType object this method generates an exception because user-defined data types cannot be modified.
