Restore.StopBeforeMarkName Property

Gets or sets the mark name to be used in conjunction with the date specified by StopBeforeMarkAfterDate to determine the stopping point of the recovery operation.

Property Value

Type: System.String
A string that specifies the mark name.

Remarks

Specifies recovery to the first mark matching the name specified in StopBeforeMarkName that occurs before the specified time. Recovery does not include the transaction that contains the mark. If the StopBeforeMarkName value is not set, recovery stops at the first mark with the specified name.

Examples

The following code example sets a transaction mark name before which the restore operation halts.
