ManagementGroup.GetMonitoringEvents Method (MonitoringClass, TraversalDepth)

Retrieves a collection of monitoring events for the specified class, with the option to include instances of derived classes.

Parameters

• monitoringClass
  Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Configuration.MonitoringClass

  The monitoring base class, with all its derived classes, that defines the range of the returned results.

• traversalDepth
  Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Common.TraversalDepth

  A value that modifies the limits of the monitoringClassparameter. A value of OneLevelincludes only instances of the specified class in the scope of the returned results. A value of Recursiveincludes instances of the specified class and all instances that are contained by those instances.

Return Value

Type: System.Collections.ObjectModel.ReadOnlyCollection<MonitoringEvent>

Returns aReadOnlyCollection<T>object ofMonitoringEvent objects.
