ClientID

ClientID is the Configuration Manager identifier for the client. The identifier is established when the client sends its first data discovery record (DDR) to the management point.

Remarks

In Configuration Manager 2007 identity is established when a registration message is sent to the site server. In Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003, identity is established when the DDR is first sent.
