StateMessage represents a state message that is raised from a Configuration Manager client.

Type: Parent.

Instances: One or more.

Attributes

Attribute Description

MessageTime

The Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) that the state changed. Can be specified by the client but defaults to the current time on the client.

The attribute is stored in DateTime format.

SerialNumber

The number of state messages that the client has sent since it was installed. Every time a message is sent this counter is incremented by 1. This counter is persisted and maintained across client restarts.
