ConnectorFrameworkProxy.AcknowledgeMonitoringAlerts Method

[This topic is pre-release documentation and is subject to change in future releases. Blank topics are included as placeholders.]

The monitoring connector acknowledges that it has successfully received monitoring alerts from the ConnectorFrameworkProxy. It acknowledges alerts that occur until the given bookmark time.

Namespace: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ConnectorFramework
Assembly: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.OperationsManager (in Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.OperationsManager.dll)

Usage

'Usage
Dim instance As ConnectorFrameworkProxy
Dim connectorId As Guid
Dim utcBookmarkTime As DateTime

instance.AcknowledgeMonitoringAlerts(connectorId, utcBookmarkTime)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public Sub AcknowledgeMonitoringAlerts ( _
    connectorId As Guid, _
    utcBookmarkTime As DateTime _
)
public void AcknowledgeMonitoringAlerts (
    Guid connectorId,
    DateTime utcBookmarkTime
)
public:
void AcknowledgeMonitoringAlerts (
    Guid connectorId,
    DateTime utcBookmarkTime
)
public void AcknowledgeMonitoringAlerts (
    Guid connectorId,
    DateTime utcBookmarkTime
)
public function AcknowledgeMonitoringAlerts (
    connectorId : Guid,
    utcBookmarkTime : DateTime
)

Parameters

  • connectorId
    A globally unique identifier (GUID) for the monitoring connector.
  • utcBookmarkTime
    A timestamp bookmark.

Remarks

The monitoring connector must acknowledge that alerts have been received. Failure to acknowledge an alert will result in subsequent calls to GetMonitoringAlerts returning alerts that have already been returned.

After acknowledging alerts, you get alerts that are updated after the bookmark time that you acknowledged with.

Use server time rather than the current client time for the bookmark time. Choose the maximum time of the alerts you are acknowledging. Use the maximum value of the LastModified property to ensure no data loss.
