SMS Security

The following table shows the default and available permissions for each secured object defined in Microsoft® Systems Management Server (SMS). Security for these objects extend to related objects and derived classes. All secured objects provide security for both classes and instances, except for SMS_StatusMessage, which only provides class-level security. SMS_Resource and SMS_Group objects are secured through their membership in a collection. The permissions, listed across the top, are defined in the SMS Administrator's Guide.
