Reporting Status Messages
The SMS Provider provides methods that let you report status messages from your client application. As with component-generated messages, the SMS Provider stores user-defined messages in the database and replicates them up the site hierarchy. For more information on using the status message methods, see the following topics.
Note User-defined error, informational, and warning status messages are not localized. They are added to the database in the same format as when they were passed to the SMS Provider. Also, if you raise (create) a raw status message and you want the message to be localized, your message DLL must provide for localization.
