Alert.ComputerName Field

Gets the name of the computer.

Remarks

When adding Alert objects to MOM using the InsertAlerts method, the ComputerName field should be set to the computer's name, not the computer's IP address. If the computer is already known to MOM by its name, using the IP address can result in the creation of a duplicate entry for the computer.
