MessageCertificateX509.VerifySignature Method (Byte[], Byte[], String)

 

Verifies the signature by using the certificate specified in the properties.

Note: The byte signature is reversed to support interop in native C++ byte signing.

Parameters

  • signature
    Type: System.Byte[]

    The digital signature to verify.

  • data
    Type: System.Byte[]

    The data against which the signature is verified.

  • hashAlgorithmName
    Type: System.String

    Hash algorithm to use for verifying the signature.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean

True if the signature is valid; otherwise false.
