How to View Computer and Computer Groups Reports in Essentials

Applies To: System Center Essentials 2010

In the Computers view, System Center Essentials 2010 is set up to generate a summary report on the hardware, software, and system health of the computers in a computer group. In addition, reports on the individual computers in the group are also available.

To view the computer group summary report

  1. In the Essentials console, click Computers.

  2. Expand Computer Groups in the Computers pane.

  3. Right-click one of the computer groups, and click Group Summary Report.

To view reports for individual members of a computer group

  1. In the Essentials console, click Computers.

  2. Expand Computer Groups in the Computers pane.

  3. Select one of the computer groups. In the Views pane, right-click one of the members of the selected computer group and click one of the following:

    • Software Deployment Status

    • Update Deployment Status
