How to Change the Credentials for the Action Account

During the installation of System Center 2012 – Operations Manager, you are prompted for credentials for the management server action account. If you want to change the password for the credentials that you provided or use a different set of credentials, use the following procedure.
To change the credentials for the action account

Log on to the computer with an account that is a member of the Operations Manager Administrators role for the Operations Manager management group.

In the Operations console, click the Administration button.

In the Administration pane, under the Run As Configuration, click Accounts.

In the Accounts pane, under Type: Action Account, right-click the account (domain\user name) that you want to change, and then click Properties.

In the Run As Account Properties dialog box, click the Credentials tab.

Enter the new credentials for the action account, and then click OK.
