How to Correct Missing Attribute Issues
Attributes may be missing from an object for a variety of reasons that range from attributes that were manually deleted to global catalog synchronization issues. However, if any attributes are missing, it is most commonly because Recipient Update Service did not write these attributes correctly or because of ADC replication issues.
Before You Begin
Before you perform the procedure in this topic, read Troubleshooting Non-Delivery Report Messages.
The following permissions are required to perform this procedure:
- Member of the local administrators group
Procedure
To correct missing attribute issues
In Exchange System Manager, expand Recipients, and then expand Recipient Update Services.
Right-click the Recipient Update Service that you want to correct, and then click Update Now to update the missing attributes from the recipient object that is experiencing this issue, or click Rebuild to rebuild all recipient objects.
