Create the new shared folder
You should use a separate shared folder for your redirected folders on the Windows EBS Management Server.
To create a shared folder for redirected folders
Log on to the Windows EBS Management Server as domain administrator.
Open Windows Explorer.
Create a new folder on the Windows EBS Management Server. An acceptable location would be to create a folder called Fileshares with a subfolder called Redirectedfolders.
Note
Depending on the settings you chose when you configured your redirected folders, AD DS will automatically create subfolders under the folder you are creating.
Right-click the folder, and then click Share. The File Sharing Wizard appears.
In the drop-down list, click Find.
Type the group name Authenticated Users, and then click OK.
Change the permission level for Authenticated Users to Co-owner.
Click Share, and then click Done to close the wizard.
In Windows Explorer, right-click the folder that you created and click Properties. The Properties dialog box appears.
To ensure that this directory is secure against malicious users, click the Security tab.
Near the bottom-right of the dialog box, click the Advanced button. The Advanced Security Settings dialog box appears.
Click Edit. Another Advanced Security Settings dialog box appears.
Select Authenticated Users from the list, and then click Edit.
Under Allow, select the following two check boxes: List folder/read data and Create folders/append data. Clear all other check boxes, and ensure that no Deny check boxes are selected.
Click OK until all the dialog boxes are closed.
