The FSC utility for FSOCS

The FSC Utility (FSCUtility.exe) is a command-line utility with which you can enable or disable Microsoft Forefront Security for Office Communications Server (FSOCS).
Note
Unlike a reset, when you use FSCUtility.exe, the Forefront Security services are not removed. Only the dependencies that have been set are removed.
FSCUtility.exe is located in the Forefront Security installation directory. It has the following parameters.
Parameter | Description |

Gives an on-screen report showing the status of Forefront Security and the server. |
FSCUtility /disable |
Disables Forefront Security dependencies. |
FSCUtility /enable |
Enables Forefront Security dependencies. |
There are other parameters, but they should only be used when you are directed to do so by support technicians.
Disabling and enabling Forefront Security for Office Communications Server
You can use the FSC Utility in order to disable and enable FSOCS.
To disable FSOCS by removing dependencies
Stop the Office Communications Server Front-End Service.
In a command prompt window, navigate to the FSOCS installation directory, and then disable Forefront Security dependencies by typing:
FSCUtility /disable
To confirm that the Forefront Security dependencies have been removed, type:
FSCUtility /status
Restart the Office Communications Server Front-End service.
Warning
When you are not running FSOCS, you are without its protection.
To enable FSOCS by reestablishing dependencies
Stop the Office Communications Server Front-End service.
In a command prompt window, navigate to the FSOCS installation directory, and then enable Forefront Security dependencies by typing:
FSCUtility /enable
To confirm that the Forefront Security dependencies have been reestablished, type:
FSCUtility /status
Restart the Office Communications Server Front-End service.
