Forefront TMG provides the following monitoring and logging options:

Monitor Forefront TMG activities and performance. For information, see Monitoring activity from the dashboard.
Receive runtime event alerts, both pre-defined system alert and custom alerts. For information, see Configuring alerts.
Log information for traffic handled by the Microsoft Firewall service, and by the Web Proxy filter. For information, see Configuring Forefront TMG logs.
