Application publishing

Exchange Server 2013

Forefront UAG SP3 supports publishing Exchange Server 2013.

SharePoint Server 2013

Forefront UAG SP3 supports publishing SharePoint Server 2013 including support for host-named site collections. See Manage site collections.

Client devices

Windows 8

Forefront UAG SP3 supports Windows 8 and Windows RT client computers using Internet Explorer 10 and Internet Explorer 10 on the desktop. In addition, SP3 also supports the following:

  • Mail—End users can use the built-in Mail application on Windows 8 computers to connect to published Exchange servers.

  • Remote Desktop—Forefront UAG SP3 supports the Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) 8.0 client.

Windows Phone 8

Forefront UAG SP3 supports mobile phone devices running the Windows Phone 8 Operating System.

Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1

Forefront UAG SP3 supports the RDC 8.0 client.

Office 2013

Forefront UAG SP3 supports Office 2013 client applications: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
