AutoHide collapses a workspace panel, leaving the panel name visible within a vertical tab. For more information, see Hide or pin a workspace panel.
- Click or move your pointer over the vertical tab for the panel to make it expand, and then double-click the title tab of the panel (not the vertical tab).
Drag the title tab of a floating panel, or drag the gray area in the title bar of a floating panel group, to a new location inside the workspace.
Blue lines appear when your pointer has moved over a docking area. Docking areas typically include the borders of existing panels, the borders of the window, and the title tabs of existing panel groups. When your pointer moves over borders, a gray highlight appears to identify the location where your panel will dock if you release your mouse button at that location. When your pointer moves over existing panels, a blue bounding box appears.
