Before you can begin your screen capture, you have to configure your audio and video sources to make sure that you can obtain an optimal capture. You should also set specific screen and recording options. You can accomplish all of this in the Settings dialog box.
To open the Settings dialog box
- On the Microsoft Expression Encoder Screen Capture main window, click Edit options

. Click the tab corresponding to the options that you want to set or change.
