Supported Deployment Editions

Domain-Specific Language Tools supports the following configurations for deploying the domain-specific languages that you build:

  • Visual Studio 2008 Standard Edition

  • Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition

  • Visual Studio 2008 Team Edition for Software Architects

  • Visual Studio 2008 Team Edition for Software Developers

  • Visual Studio 2008 Team Edition for Software Testers

  • Visual Studio 2008 Team Suite

  • The Visual Studio 2008 SDK Shell (integrated mode) redistributable package

  • The Visual Studio 2008 SDK Shell (isolated mode) SP1 redistributable package Note   Use the SP1 version of the isolated shell redistributable, not the RTM version. You can find more information on the redistributables on the Visual Studio Extensibility Downloads site.
