Gets the description of the described property, as specified in the DescriptionResourceAttribute.

Property Value

Type: System.String
The description of the described property. If the property does not have a DescriptionResourceAttribute or DescriptionAttribute attribute, then the empty string ("") is returned.

Remarks

If the owner parameter was specified in the constructor for this property descriptor, then the GetDescription method of the owner provides the description, where this descriptor is passed in the propertyDescriptor parameter.
