Build, Configuration Settings, Deployment Project Properties Dialog Box

This document specifies the build settings for the currently selected smart device deployment project. The name of the project is displayed in the title bar.

To display the Deployment Project Properties dialog box, right-click the project in Solution Explorer, and then select Properties.

  • Configuration
    Specifies the build configuration, such as Debug, Retail, and so on

  • Platform
    Specifies the platform targeted by the active project.

  • Configuration Properties folder
    Specifies the category of properties to be displayed in the right panel.

  • Configuration Manager
    Opens the Configuration Manager dialog box.

  • Output file name
    Specifies the location where the CAB file will be put when built. Click Browse to select a location other than the default location.

  • Authenticode signature
    Specifies whether output files will be signed using Authenticode signing. For more information, see Security in Device Projects.

  • Certificate
    Specifies an Authenticode certificate file to be used to sign the files. Click Select From Store to select a certificate file.

  • Select From Store
    Opens the Select the Certificate dialog box, where you can select the certificates want to use. For more information, see How to: Import and Apply Certificates in Device Projects.
