Remarks
You cannot pass a Microsoft.Office.Tools.Word.XMLNode host control to a method or property that expects the underlying object (a XMLNode). You must use the InnerObject property of the Microsoft.Office.Tools.Word.XMLNode host control to access the underlying XMLNode. You then pass this object to a method or property that expects a XMLNode. For more information, see Programmatic Limitations of Host Items and Host Controls.
