Differences Between MFC C++ for Devices and Standard MFC

For device constraint reasons, such as memory, MFC for devices does not support all classes and abilities that the standard desktop MFC supports. The following table describes the classes that are and are not supported on the latest Visual Studio release for devices (MFC version 9.0).

You can also use the filtering mechanism of the Help functionality to get a list of MFC classes supported on the desktop which are also supported on devices.
