Generics Sample
This sample shows how to create various generic collections and how to manipulate them.
To get samples and instructions for installing them
Do one or more of the following:
On the Help menu, click Samples.
The Readme displays information about samples.
Visit the Visual Studio 2008 Samples Web site. The most recent versions of samples are available there.
Locate samples on the computer on which Visual Studio is installed. By default, samples and a Readme file are installed in drive:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Samples\lcid. For Express editions of Visual Studio, all samples are located online.

This sample illustrates the following concepts:
Use of the Queue<T>, List<T>, Stack<T>, Dictionary<TKey, TValue>, and SortedList<TKey, TValue> collections from the System.Collections.Generic namespace.
A method for sorting the contents of the collection for each collection type.
Adding and removing items from the data structures.
The sample contains one form. On startup, the form displays two sets of RadioButton controls, four Button controls, and two ListBox controls. The source ListBox control contains the data being stored. The two RadioButton groups control the type of data and type of collection. The buttons perform the clear, load, sort, and reverse tasks. The resulting collection is shown in the target ListBox control. The code for each collection type is organized in a #Region Directive.
