DesignerWindowPane.GetAutomationObject Method

Gets the automation object for this window pane.

Parameters

  • propName
    Type: System.String
    The name of the automation object. This can be nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) or an empty string.

Return Value

Type: System.Object
The automation object, or nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

The default implementation returns IDesignerHost if the name is empty or LOGVIEWID_Designer. If it is any other value, this method will assume the value is a type name, try to obtain the type, and if successful, call GetService on the design surface for the type.
