How to: Jump to Web Request from the Web Performance Test Playback

You can easily move back and forth on a parameter from the Web Performance Test Results Viewer to the Web Performance Test Editor window to help you isolate playback issues.

To jump from a Web request or parameter in the Web Performance Test Results View to the corresponding item in the Web Performance Test Editor

  1. In the Web performance test's playback in the Web Performance Test Results Viewer, right-click a Web request URL and select Go to Web Test.

    The Web Performance Test Editor is displayed with the Web request highlighted.

    -or-

    In the Web performance test's playback in the Web Performance Test Results Viewer, select a Web request URL.

  2. Click the Request tab.

  3. If Show raw data is selected, clear it.

  4. Right-click a parameter and select Go to Web Test.

    The Web Performance Test Editor is displayed with the specified parameter highlighted.
