AdoDotNetSchemaReader.GetItemType Method

Retrieves the data type for a data item at a specified index and with a specified item type format.

Parameters

• index
  Type: System.Int32

  Index into the field specifying the data item for which to retrieve the item type format.

• itemTypeFormat
  Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Data.DataItemTypeFormat

  The DataItemTypeFormat object instance specifying the data type format for the data item.

Return Value

Type: System.Object
Returns the data type for the specified data item.

Remarks

The DataItemTypeFormat enumeration specifies four type formats: ManagedType, NativeType, Unknown, and VarType.
