Starts the process of signature help at the specified point.

Parameters

• textView
  Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Text.Editor.ITextView

  The ITextView over which to trigger signature help.

• triggerPoint
  Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Text.ITrackingPoint

  The point in the text buffer at which signature help is requested.

• trackCaret
  Type: System.Boolean

  true if this session should track the caret, false otherwise. When the caret is tracked, the only items to be displayed are those whose applicability span contains the caret.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Language.Intellisense.ISignatureHelpSession
A valid signature help session. May be null if no session could be created.
