CodeClass.DerivedTypes Property

Gets a collection of objects derived from this CodeClass object. Not implemented in Visual C#.

Namespace:  EnvDTE
Assembly:  EnvDTE (in EnvDTE.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
ReadOnly Property DerivedTypes As CodeElements
CodeElements DerivedTypes { get; }
property CodeElements^ DerivedTypes {
    CodeElements^ get ();
}
abstract DerivedTypes : CodeElements with get
function get DerivedTypes () : CodeElements

Property Value

Type: EnvDTE.CodeElements
A CodeElements collection.

Remarks

DerivedTypes returns a CodeElements collection of the types that derive from this CodeClass. DerivedTypes only returns types that derive from CodeClass within a single project, not across other projects or languages. If the code element is a vsCMElementInterface, then the returned collection also includes CodeClass objects that implement the interface.

Note

The values of code model elements such as classes, structs, functions, attributes, delegates, and so forth can be non-deterministic after making certain kinds of edits, meaning that their values cannot be relied upon to always remain the same. For more information, see the section Code Model Element Values Can Change in Discovering Code by Using the Code Model (Visual Basic).
