Gets the field span of the specified field

Parameters

• field
  Type: String

  The field for which to get the text span.

• pts
  Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextManager.Interop.TextSpan%

  [out] Returns the TextSpan, which may be empty if there is no ExpansionSession.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
true if ExpansionSession is not nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), otherwise false.

Remarks

This method calls the GetFieldSpan method.
