CompatibleFramework.Profile Property

Represents the profile of the corresponding .NET Framework.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

A String object that represents the profile of the.NET Framework.

Remarks

A profile is a subset of the full .NET Framework. For example, the .NET Framework Client Profile is a subset of the .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1, and the .NET Framework 4 Client Profile is a subset of the .NET Framework 4.5 RC. For more information, see .NET Framework Client Profile.
