Microsoft.VisualStudio.SharePoint.Commands Namespace

The Microsoft.VisualStudio.SharePoint.Commands namespace contains types you can use to create custom SharePoint commands.

A SharePoint command is a method that can be used to call APIs in the SharePoint server object model from an extension for the SharePoint tools in Visual Studio. For more information, see Calling into the SharePoint Object Models and How to: Create a SharePoint Command.

Classes

  Class Description
Public class SharePointCommandAttribute Indicates that a method is a SharePoint command.
Public class SharePointCommandServices Represents services that can be used in a SharePoint command implementation.

Interfaces

  Interface Description
Public interface ISharePointCommandContext Provides the context in which a SharePoint command is being executed.
Public interface ISharePointCommandLogger Represents the logging service for SharePoint commands.

Enumerations

  Enumeration Description
Public enumeration LogCategory Specifies where messages written by using the SharePoint log service appear in the Output window and Error List window.
