ITeamFoundationRegistryService.GetValue<T> Method (TeamFoundationRequestContext, String, Boolean, T)

GetValue&amp;lt;T&amp;gt;() will retrieve the value for the specified path. It will then be converted to the type specified by T.

JScript does not support generic types or methods.

Type Parameters

• T
  Type of the registry value

Parameters

• requestContext
  Type: Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Framework.Server.TeamFoundationRequestContext

  The request context

• path
  Type: System.String

  Location in the registry to read the setting from

• fallThru
  Type: System.Boolean

  If the value is not found and a fallthru hive is available read it from there.

• defaultValue
  Type: T

  If the setting does not exist this default value is returned

Return Value

Type: T
The registry value converted to the type specified
