As a subclass of Control, your control automatically supports a standard set of Windows events. You can capture and process these events within your control, optionally passing them to the host application. In addition, you can define custom events unique to your control and fire them as needed.
In this section, you will find information about the following:
Capturing User Interaction with a Control How to receive and process mouse and keyboard events inside your control.
Creating a Custom Event How to define, expose, and fire events in your control.
Providing Property Change Notification How to use a pre-defined event handling mechanism for changes to property values.
