Syntax

public abstract void setShort( int parameterIndex**, short** x ) throws SQLException

Parameters
  • parameterIndex
    the first parameter is 1, the second is 2, ...
  • x
    the parameter value
Description

Set a parameter to a Java short value. The driver converts this to a SQL SMALLINT value when it sends it to the database.

Exceptions

SQLException if a database-access error occurs.
