DomainAcquirer.CancelAsync Method
[ This article is for Windows Phone 8 developers. If you’re developing for Windows 10, see the latest documentation. ]
Called to cancel an ongoing domain operation.
Namespace: System.Windows.Media
Assembly: System.Windows (in System.Windows.dll)
Syntax
Public Sub CancelAsync
public void CancelAsync()
Exceptions
Exception | Condition |
---|---|
InvalidOperationException | If no domain operation is in progress. |
Remarks
Method used to cancel an ongoing domain operation. If the domain operation is a domain join and is occurring via a LicenseAcquirer, calling this method will also cancel license acquisition (and, indirectly, playback will fail with a license acquisition failure error message if license acquisition was occurring via a MediaElement). For domain leave, this method only cancels the asynchronous operation informing the server that the client has left the domain. Refer to LeaveDomainAsync for more information.
