Gets the SD cards that are inserted in the phone.

Return Value

Type: System.Threading.Tasks..::.Task<(Of <(IEnumerable<(Of <(ExternalStorageDevice>)>)>)>)
The task that returns ExternalStorageDevice objects.

Remarks

Note

In this release, this method returns no more than one SD card.

Your app must register for a file association in the app manifest file to declare what file types (extensions) can be read from the SD card. For more info, see Auto-launching apps using file and URI associations for Windows Phone 8.
