Paste or move a keyframe (Windows Phone)

If you record a change on a property but decide that you want that change to occur sooner or later on the timeline, you can move the keyframe.

Note

A keyframe from one object cannot be moved to another object.

Note

Moving a compound or object-level keyframe will also move all the child object keyframes.

To drag a keyframe

  1. Select the timeline from the Storyboard picker by clicking Open a Storyboard  under Objects and Timeline and then selecting a storyboard.

  2. Select the target.

  3. Click the keyframe  that you want to move, and then drag it to the desired position on the timeline.

To paste a keyframe

  1. Select the timeline from the Storyboard picker by clicking Open a Storyboard  under Objects and Timeline and then selecting a storyboard.

  2. Right-click the keyframe  that you want to move, and then click Cut or Copy.

  3. Move the timeline playhead  to the location where you want to paste the keyframe, and then, on the Edit menu, click Paste.

Warning

When using the Cut and Paste commands, you must have at least one keyframe left in the timeline after executing the Cut command.
