Decryption_DecryptContent.cpp

[The AD RMS SDK leveraging functionality exposed by the client in Msdrm.dll is available for use in Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7, Windows Server 2012, and Windows 8. It may be altered or unavailable in subsequent versions. Instead, use Active Directory Rights Management Services SDK 2.1, which leverages functionality exposed by the client in Msipc.dll.]

The following example shows how to decrypt a byte array that contains encrypted content. The content was encrypted by using the Encrypting Content Code Example and saved in a custom file. The encrypted content is retrieved from the file in Decryption_ReadEncryptedContent.cpp. This example performs the following actions:

  • Creates a decrypting object.
  • Determines the size of the block that must be used when decrypting.
  • Allocates memory for a buffer to hold the decrypted content.
  • Decrypts the content in block size chunks of memory.
