IMSVidCtl::put_VideoRendererActive method (msvidctl.h)

The put_VideoRendererActive method specifies the active video renderer.

Syntax

HRESULT put_VideoRendererActive(
  [in] IMSVidVideoRenderer *pVal
);

Parameters

[in] pVal

Specifies a pointer to the IMSVidVideoRenderer interface of the video renderer device.

Return value

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.

Remarks

Currently the only supported video renderer is the Video Mixing Renderer (VMR) filter. The VMR is used by default, so it is not necessary to call this method.
