Console Sizing

For management applications targeted to Windows Vista where the screen resolution is specified to be at least 1024 × 768 pixels, MMC consoles should be set to open at 1000 × 715 pixels. Then the results pane will be 600 × 600; the tree and the Actions pane will each be 190 pixels wide.

For management applications targeted to lower resolutions, the MMC console should be set to 800 × 600 the results pane will then be 395 × 450 pixels; the tree and the Actions pane will each be 190 pixels wide.
