The GetOurCompareStates method gets information that is needed to compare states with the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC).

Syntax

HRESULT GetOurCompareStates (

[in,out] unsigned char *  pOurTransId  ,

[out] DTCLUCOMPARESTATE *  pCompareState

);

Parameters

pOurTransId
[in,out] A pointer to the transaction ID.

pCompareState
[out] A pointer to a DTCLUCOMPARESTATE struct that contains information needed to compare states.

Return Values

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

S_OK
Method completed successfully.
